Writing

A while back I decided to reinvent myself a bit and pursue my dream. In fits and spurts that I like to call Mom Time, which is measured not in minutes or hours or days, but in stolen moments—you know, those moments between school drop-offs and pick-ups and homemade lunches and transportation to and from activities and play-dates and supervising homework and accommodating orthodontist appointments and my sometimes day-job—moments which are few and far between, but together, amount to something, I have made some changes.

I started writing. Freelance. And then I stopped, side-tracked by work and family and all sorts of other excuses. But I would like to start again. To be fair, I had some success. I’m no Stephenie Meyer or Anne Lamott yet, but someday, maybe…

Anyway, here’s a list of my published works to date…more soon, fingers crossed!

  1. Hey there know-it-all-mom, I’ve been enjoying your lovely writing! Your stories are beautifully written and deeply moving. Good to hear you are doing well out west and flourishing in a new area. Take care, Jennifer

    • Hi Jennifer, It is so nice to hear from you! Yes, we are well, and I the hope the same is true for all of you. I’m glad you’ve been reading; I never really know if anyone is until a comment is left, but it is especially nice when the comment reconnects me to a voice from the past. I’ve been a delinquent blogger/writer for the past several months, wrapped up on a contract that is taking more time and head-space than I anticipated. However, I plan to be back online soon. Keep in touch, and thanks for stopping by! :)
